Sika Deer – 3 Day Hunt
The Sika deer, also known as spotted deer or Japanese deer, is native to most of East Asia. Once spanning from northern Vietnam to far east Russia they are now uncommon in most of its native lands. They do maintain an overabundant population across Japan and even have a wild herd existing on the eastern shore of Maryland as well as other parts of the US and Europe. The Sika deers coat changes throughout the year, getting darker and shaggier in the winter. Sika males here at Antlered Acres Ranch can reach weights of 250+ lbs with gold medal racks. A challenging hunt, Sika deer are known for alerting other deer to the presence of hunters.
The Sika deer, native of East Asia, can reach weights of 250+ lbs, making them a prized (and challenging) hunt. This is a 3 day hunt – there is a $100 per person lodging fee per night in our spacious lodge. Please let us know how many guests to expect.
Please note: GUIDES WORK FOR TIPS: it is customary to tip a minimum of 10% of your hunt cost.
Lodging:
A pecky cypress clad lodge offers a respite after a long day of hunting. A home away from home, the lodge here on the ranch can accommodate up to 10 individuals, with private rooms available for couples or families. It is appointed with comfortable furnishings, satellite television, and even a luxurious billiards room for when you aren’t out on your trophy hunt. Relax on the porch, have dinner in the outdoor pavilion, or simply nap between hunts, staying on property allows you to fully enjoy your time here at Antlered Acres Ranch. Food packages are available from a grocery stocked kitchen to fully catered meals, please call to discuss your food and beverage package.
